The Budgeting for Youth Program is a targeted early intervention program aimed at increasing the budgeting financial literacy of young people as they transition into adulthood.

  • Young people transitioning to independent living
  • Youth with independent living arrangements

Where is the training run?

Training can be run in directly onsite at schools, in community settings such as community centres or public meeting rooms.

What is covered?

Workshops aim to increase and develop good money management knowledge, and skills that young people can apply in their lives now, and in their future. It is anticipated that young people who participant will be better placed to navigate their finances and are more likely to avoid poor choices.

Paperwork you may need to complete when you get your first job
Tax and superannuation
Understanding MYGOV and linking your ATO
Other subjects based on participant / stakeholder assessments
