Community Compass, since 1991

Community Compass has been providing accessible and affordable training and services to not-for-profits throughout NSW since 1991.

1991:

We were formerly known as Central Coast Voluntary Treasurers Support Service, beginning with a small group of dedicated individuals who were committed to supporting the community sector, helping treasurers implement best practice when managing their organisation’s finances.

2008:

We embarked on the exciting mission of re-defining our organisation to ensure that we connect with the community and increase awareness of our services within the Community Sector.

The Community Compass name and new services were launched to better reflect the needs of our growing client base.

2018:

We relaunched with a fresh ‘new look’ brand and positioning statement to clarify our mission and relevancy within the community.

Our focus is in strengthening the leaders in the community, that can in-turn, strengthen the community by enabling change through leadership.

We are guiding community-managed groups’ to achieve good governance and viable futures

2019:

Community Compass continues to steadily develop by adapting to our client needs, investing in our own business infrastructure and adding valued services to help develop capacity in the Community Sector and establish a sustainable future.
